Extended Limited Office Hours
We hope this message finds you and yours healthy as COVID-19 continues to impact our community. The entire staff at McMillin Eyecare want each of you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We know this is a trying and uncertain time but God tells us to “not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6). He tells us that despite our worries, we can still have peace. So, the next time you feel anxious, worried, or afraid, invite God into that moment with praise and ask for peace.
McMillin Eyecare remains focused on the safety and health of all of our patients and staff during these unprecedented times of quarantine and social distancing. We miss seeing each and every one of you, and cannot wait to get back into our normal routine; however, in response to Executive Order 27 dated April 13, 2020, we have made the decision to continue our current, shortened office hours.
From now through Friday, May 1, 2020, our office will continue to have limited, appointment only hours. During these office hours, we will be open and prepared to provide emergent and urgent eye care services and will continue to utilize precautionary cleansing and sanitizing measures set forth by CDC guidelines. Our weekly schedule will be as follows:
Monday 9:00am – 1:00pm
Tuesday 9:00am – 1:00pm
Wednesday 9:00am – 1:00pm
Thursday 9:00am – 1:00pm
Friday 9:00am – 1:00pm
Saturday 9:00am – 11:00am
Sunday CLOSED
We will reach out to any patients that have appointments previously scheduled during this time. As soon as the State of Tennessee begins to reopen the state economy, McMillin Eyecare will adjust and increase our office hours appropriately. We will definitely let you know when that happens!
Contact Lens Orders:
For all existing McMillin Eyecare patients requiring additional contact lenses, please call our office at (423) 239-5491 or email teddi@drmcmillin.com and provide the following information. These orders can be shipped directly to you at the address you provide, or we can schedule a pickup time during our limited office hours.
- Current Shipping Address
- Current Vision Savings Plan information (ex: VSP, EyeMed, etc.) and whether or not you would like to use your insurance benefits.
Medication Refills:
For all existing McMillin Eyecare patients requiring additional prescription refills and changes, please call our office at (423) 239-5491 or email us at vision@drmcmillin.com.
Emergencies:
Please note both doctors are available outside of normal office hours to triage emergent situations. They can be reached via call or text at the numbers listed below.
